Science of Selling is run by Joshua Whitlock through Online Income System LLC, 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87113, USA. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Your name, email address, mobile number and country, when you buy, book a call, take the assessment or join the newsletter.
- What you bought and when. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Your answers to the assessment and to booking questions.
- Basic site usage (pages visited, which ad or link brought you here) through cookies, the Meta pixel and Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To deliver what you bought and help if something goes wrong.
- To send emails about your purchase, and the newsletter if you are on it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To text you about your order (see below).
- To understand which ads and pages work, so we can improve them.
We never sell your information.
Text messages
When you give your mobile number at checkout, you agree that Joshua can text you about your purchase, for example to check your book arrived and answer any questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can also email us.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text message opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your number is only passed to the service that sends our texts (Twilio) so the message can be delivered.
Who helps us run things
We use trusted services to run the site and business: Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email), Calendly (call booking), Twilio (text messages), Meta and Google (advertising and analytics). They only get what they need to do their job.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are a customer or subscriber, and as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records. Ask us and we will delete anything we are not required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it for marketing. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
